Why Participation Is Important
For many years, Charleston Court has struggled to reach quorum at annual meetings. Without quorum, elections cannot proceed, and homeowners lose the opportunity to vote.
All five positions will be up for Election. Candidate bios will be sent out from Management via usps mail. There will be five positions to vote for and success in electing a new board of directors depends on you!
HOW YOU CAN VOTE:
VOTING IN PERSON Voting by person will be the day of the annual meeting. Take your ballot to the annual Meeting March 11th before the meeting starts and hand it to the secretary.
VOTING BY PROXY If you cannot attend the Annual Meeting in person, you can still participate by using a proxy. A proxy allows you to authorize another person to count your vote and help the Association reach quorum. Proxies are especially important when many homeowners are unable to attend the meeting.

VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT Voting by absentee ballot is another option. If you cannot make the annual meeting March 11, 2026 to vote, you can send in the ballot by mail and must meet the mail in deadline. Or have a proxy hand deliver the sealed envelope for you at the meeting. All must be prior to the start of the meeting.
A quorum is necessary to have our Annual meeting but more importantly to elect a new Board of Directors. Something never achieved in years past!
