Transparency is important for trust to exist — I believe when information is shared openly, trust and collaboration naturally follow. Listening is vital for a community to thrive. I promise your concerns will never be dismissed but I will work towards finding a solution.
Hello neighbors, I have proudly called Charleston Court home since 2019. I love the quiet, family-friendly atmosphere here, and the convenience of being close to downtown with all its events and great restaurants.
I’ve been the owner of an art and framing gallery in downtown West Palm Beach for over 20 years. Running a small business through challenges like the 2008 recession and Covid has taught me the importance of financial responsibility, problem-solving, and resilience — all skills that translate well to serving on our HOA board.
In the past year, I’ve been actively involved in bringing neighbors together. I facilitated an amazing group of concerned s to review our HOA’s financials and decisions the Board of Directors made during the 2021 roofing project. These decisions led our community into debt for the first in its history.
Wanting to better know my neighbors, I created a Charleston Court Facebook group in 2024 to give residents a place to connect, share information, and stay engaged. Many of you have joined and have benefited from the information that is shared.
For this election our organizing group thought it necessary to build a website that’s became a valuable resource for homeowners to see the vision we have for our community and to introduce the new candidates running for the Board. This was essential in working towards having a quorum for the first time in decades.
Along with a group of concerned homeowners, we launched a homeowners survey to better understand what matters most to our neighbors. Many of you took the time to respond, and I personally followed up with everyone who did to acknowledge your concerns and see how I could help support positive change. A positive change could include a semi-annual survey that would help us understand the concerns of the community and give you a voice.
Looking ahead, I’d like to see us create more opportunities for connection: a welcome committee for new neighbors, casual meet-and-greets, a landscaping advisory group and simple ways for us to support one another.
I would be honored to serve on the board and represent our community with fairness, openness, and a spirit of teamwork.
